Lowey, small-businessowners back Obama tax proposal

Small businesses could get a 10 percent tax credit for new hires and continue to receive authorization for expensing 100 percent of their investments, according to a plan proposed by President Barack Obama and championed at Captain Lawrence Brewing in Elmsford today by Democratic U.S. Rep. Lowey said in a statement that Congress should act on the legislation right away.
